Dudhkoshi Jalvidyut Company Limited (DKJVCL) has been established on 03 March 2017 (2073/11/20 B.S.) as a subsidiary company of NEA for the implementation of the project and has begun its operationalization on May 2023. The Company was established for the purpose of development, construction, ownership and operation of Dudhkoshi Storage Hydroelectric Project. There is provision of 5 members in the Board of the Directors (BoD), currently BoD constitutes following three members:
- Chairman- Managing Director, NEA
- Member- Deputy Managing Director, Finance Directorate, NEA
- Member- Deputy Managing Director, Planning, Monitoring and Information Technology Directorate, NEA

About the Project
Located in the Dudhkoshi River basin, this project features a reservoir-based hydropower system that ensures a reliable and consistent energy supply. With an installed capacity of 635 MW, the project will significantly contribute to Nepal’s power generation, reducing dependency on fossil fuels and imports.
